Luke Stone
Luke Stone
Sandy, UT
Luke grew up in New England skiing at Cannon Mountain. His dad was an early powderchaser, regularly taking Luke out of school for last minute chases to Cannon. Even then, his dad would make him hike to access the adjacent, and at the time closed, Mittersill for fresh tracks. He was obsessed with weather too, and both of these passions were passed on to Luke. Starting in college, Luke started chasing on his own throughout the Northeast. His love for weather and snow took him on chases to New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, and Quebec. He taught himself everything he could about weather to make these chases pay off.

Soon it was time to leave the Northeast and move to a place with better snow and better access to big mountains. He made the move to Salt Lake City and started chasing powder all Winter. Through the years, he has continued to gain as much weather knowledge as possible in order to provide both short and long range forecasts. He is currently working on a Masters Degree in Atmospheric Sciences. You will always find his dog Noodle, an Irish Goldendoodle, with hi on every chase. The only person that might love snow more than Luke is Noodle.

David Reinfeld
Stowe, VT
Lifelong skier hiker and mountain bike enthusiast, David grew up learning to ski on the hills around central Vermont Mt. Ascutney, Suicide Six and Killington. After college a job in Europe brought him to ski places like Verbier and Chamonix before returning to New England. Prior to moving to Stowe Vermont, David and his family of five skied at Bretton Woods in NH, where his children learned to race and where he skied with his wife when he was not working on ski patrol.
David has two daughters competing in u-16 and u12 and a son competing in u14 northern Vermont division for Mansfield Ski Academy. He and his wife have a cockapoo name Maizie who loves to join them on back country ski trips around Stowe.

Will Stevens

I am 26 years old and was born and raised in Charlottesville, VA. I moved out west when I graduated college and after spending some time in Arizona I moved to Jackson Hole. I ski as many days as I possibly can and always looking to spread the stoke!

Daniel Dunn
Breckenridge, CO

Hi everyone, I’m Daniel, I’ve been in Breck 23 years. I not only ski the resorts, but also backcountry and nordic. I try to hit different “local” areas. I mountain bike my brains out in the summer. I’m outside a LOT.

Courtney Donaldson
Steamboat Springs, CO

Hi, my name is Courtney, I am a resident of Steamboat Springs, CO and a 5th generation Colorado native who grew up in the suburbs of Denver. I have literally been on skis since before I could walk (on my fathers back in a backpack) and raced, instructed and patrolled throughout.  During the week I work full-time as a Corporate Paralegal and on weekends during the winter I toggle my time between being a Volunteer Ski Patroller and adventuring out on the slopes.

Ross Damon
Beaver Creek, CO

I am a New England skier and boarder who has finally made it out West for the season. My grandfather helped teach me to ski as a little kid and I grew up skiing at a local independent mountain in Western Massachusetts, Berkshire East. In college I finally made it to Sugarloaf in Maine. Now I have found myself at Beaver Creek for the winter and couldn’t be more excited to get on the snow!

Josh Cole
Avon, CO

Josh is a full time technologist, photographer, and musician. But when he’s not behind the screen, he makes sure to spend every spare minute enjoying the great outdoors doing literally anything and everything he can get his hands on. From camping, hiking, and mountain biking in the summer, to skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, sledding, and his favorite new activity to take on the slopes: ski skating. “Ski skating is a cross between skiing and ice skating and uses a new innovative type of boot called an ODR ski! It’s so much fun and I try to advocate for it in the resorts.”

Marvin Howard
Jackson, WY

My enthusiasm for skiing began in Vermont in the early 1980s, skiing with mostly friends at local resorts such as Killington, Mt. Snow and Okemo. After spending several extended spring breaks out west in places like Crested Butte, Breckenridge and Telluride, I decided soon after college I would dedicate myself to exploring and thriving in the Tetons—places like Grand Targhee and Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Today, it’s these places I call home and where I’m always excited to bring guests on guided ski trips.

Jennie Sakimura
Morristown, NJ

I learned to ski at 40!  My now husband, Mike is an avid skier, and I took his challenge to give it a try, and instantly fell in love (with skiing).  Because of my love for the sport, I learned to appreciate and enjoy winter.  My two children, learned to ski at the same time I did, so it was something we got to experience together.  I now have a 10 year-old daughter on the freeride team and an 8 year-old son on the race team at Magic Mountain, VT, which is our home mountain.  One thing I would love to see are more moms trying skiing or riding for the first time, so they can enjoy it with their kids as well. Try a lesson or a clinic—you deserve it!
