Nestled against the breathtaking backdrop of the Teton Range, Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is a haven for winter enthusiasts seeking the perfect blend of pristine slopes, rustic charm, and unrivaled natural beauty. But unlike many U.S. ski destinations, which are near a major thoroughfare or major city, Jackson is hundreds of miles from a major metro or international airport. And that’s in part what makes Jackson such a special place.

Need to Know Information

It’s no secret that a ski trip can often take a little bit more planning and preparation. And that’s particularly the case when flying into a destination like Jackson that has a smaller airport and is prone to winter weather. We recommend booking your flights as far in advance as possible. Those weekend flights in and out of Jackson fill up quickly, and especially on holiday weekends.

Finally, no matter where you’re flying in and out of, we recommend giving yourself some extra time. Winter weather, traffic, and the time to check ski gear and get through security can all be unpredictable. For one less thing to think about, consider shipping your skis or snowboard.
