The wind is something to always consider with this mountain. Also one way in that does not craft an extra two hour detour is something to think about if bad weather is coming in. The terrain here is always good. I wouldn’t say it is the best, and having your family with allows them to shredd the green while you can potentially get a lap or two in the cirque.
Family friendly terrain that is great for the kids.
Bunny hill only for those paying extravagant amounts of money for a lesson.

My family and I love Winter Park/Mary Jane. It offers a little bit of everything for everyone. I love to go ski trees over at Mary Jane, one of my daughters loves the Terrain park, another daughter oves blue and green groomers, my wife loves the Winter Park side and to hang out for some good food and drink at Sunspot. All in all, it’s our favorite resort hands-down.
The very best glades are at Mary Jane!
Apres is somewhat limited, but that is actually a plus and keeps the town sort of low key.

I think this is a good resort to go to for groups with All levels. It can be confusing Roger around but there is maps on most of the lifts

I’m a huge fan of Winter Park, been going there since high school. Terrain is all time, snow is also amazing. I also love how much diversity of terrain there is. The people who work there are all very nice and helpful and I’ve only had great experiences at WP!
Mary Jane terrain is all time phenomenal. Also Winter Park because of its location get more snow accumulation than most of the other resorts nearby!

One of the best resorts to ski and ride, lots of variety of terrain, very family friendly.
Great mountain for freestyle, powder days and trees. If you like moguls hit the Mary Jane side and you’ll have the time of your life!
Not too much to do around the area after the resort closes.

Been going to Winter Park for a number of years. Always enjoy the groomers. Lots of options for different skill levels. The resort has made a number of improvements with lift/mountain access over the last decade. Lots of options for food on the mountain. Highly recommend for beginner/intermediate and families. Good Apres’ scene on the resort. Lots of shops too. The town of Winter Park has a number of good options for dinner. The worst part is getting to it, up through Bethold Pass.
Lots of options for beginner, intermediate and expert
Can get icy depending on snow volume, time of day
