Personally I wouldn't head up unless you heard they got a huge dump of snow. Grass and dirt everywhere.

Best day i have ever had at Nakiska, maybe top 10 anywhere. They probably got 25-30 cm. Deep snow on the non groomed runs, a bit heavy but not overly. Pretty thin coverage compared to most years at end of December. Now temps have dropped they are finally making snow.
