A ski resort's overall star rating displayed here is not calculated based on a simple average but takes several factors, including the age of a review, into account.
Wish they could have the T-bar running and have it go to the tippy top. I have hiked up there a few tomes and it is absolutely unmatched by any resort up there, and would remain that way even if lots of skiers did it daily. Mt. Baldy if you're reading this, I know it would be expensive but it would be the best possible upgrade yo the resort.

Just a really bad drive up there- feels like you are lost on an abandoned road going nowhere- lodge is so old, main lift very old and slow, seem to be understaffed everywhere. Staff grumble in front of guests about everything...

The hill is amazing for all different levels of riding but when we went to have drinks after the bar staff were very eager to shut down at 5. At a normal restaurant last call is announced and the staff wait till the guests are finished their drinks. At Baldy last call was announced followed by a "we have to go" after the staff determined the guests were staying longer than they planned. This made us feel rushed and un-welcomed. The bar missed out on probably $300 because they were so quick to finish their shift. Very unprofessional in terms of the staff because you would never encounter this at another restaurant. We will be back to ski but thats it.

Was just up there for the first time with my kids on the weekend, great early season conditions. We had a great time, nice affordable family friendly ski hill and only 45 min. to Osoyoos. You can't beat season pass prices, glade skiing or the dry powder.

This ski hill is the real thing. Excellent glades, lots of snow, amazing views. You can see right into the United States from the top of the hill. For skiers and boarders in the Okanagan it should be on the list of must skis every year. Why you ask? Well when Big White is all skied out by 10:30 Saturday morning after a big snow, Mt Baldy is still offering fresh tracks at closing. The hill is old-school excellent, has a great day lodge and pub upstairs, is extremely kid friendly and has no line ups. You ski on every time just like the old days.
This little ski area perched above BC's wine country is a hidden gem. Closed tuesdays, wednesdays, and thursdays means if it snows big on those days then you better call in sick on friday. What this ski area lacks in high speed lifts, fancy bars and hotels it makes up for in the friendliness of the staff and the locals. I recommend this ski area to anyone wanting to get away from the busy chaos of any of the major BC resorts.
Have been on many hills from Banff to Whistler, Baldy is better than all. No crowds, ungroomed runs and big pow Thursdays ! Whistler can't be beat for other activities, but the price reflects that and the crowded runs get hectic. If you want cheap rates, no lineups and the best snow you've ever skied, you have to try Baldy.
