Fresh pow throughout the mountains!

Variable conditions along the mountain. It was windy with low visibility and patches of fresh snow at the top. Some softer and icy patches mid mountain and low base cover at the bottom. Longer lines with the holiday crowd but village is magical!

most lifts are closed today due to high wind, but the rain and high freezing level would be taking their own toll on the experience regardless. yesterdays mashed potato snow likely won’t get much better with temps remaining above freezing.

Pretty crappy conditions. Alpine closed and rain at mid station. Patchy snow on the runs. Tomorrow will be great of Vail actually does some grooming

top of the mountain was amazing today- i forgot that there’s no snow at the bottom. one of the reasons whistler is excellent is that it’s so expansive that you can still have fun on one third of it.

Mid mountain on down is very sad / for real mandatory download. Alpine has good coverage!

Skiing on easy out was ok. Wet snow in morning. Dryer snow in afternoon. No snow on lower mountain but we found top better than expected. Biggest complaint is no enforcement of out of control skiers
