Bogus Basin is a super fun resort! Kudos to the grooming guys and snow making along with the nicest hard working lifties make this place such a diamond in the ruff!❤️

Bogus could have a lot going for it. It’s super close to boise and an easy day trip for the entire treasure valley. It’s touted as a non profit resort but it’s run by the city of Boise and like anything run by the government anywhere, it’s lacking big time. They rarely build a park jump til Feb and when they do, they do it poorly. In the last 5 years it’s gone from super affordable to priced like a world class resort. Day tix approaching $100 and season passes now on par with most for profit mountains. They’d be better off selling it to a major ski corp and letting them develop the terrain into something special. There is a lot of potential here and the terrain can be super fun and varied. Just needs some professional attention. If you’re going to charge that much, let the people who know what they’re doing buy it and make it great.

This is such a great hometown resort. Tons of runs for all abilities, with some nice long ones on the backside. Pass costs are reasonable, especially season passes. Have rarely encountered lift lines mid week.

Growing up at Bogus I try not to be bias with this review.
This very close, family friendly mountain gives great insight into your advancements in skiing. From low aspect to steeper more avalanche like terrain it is a proper resort to hone your skills for a ski trip. The snow consistency has been great this year but still remains that after a day or two from a dump it becomes well, bogus. In which conditions start to ice over. The runs are definitely short but there are many lifts with varying terrain that can easily fill up the urge for exploration. Apart from skiing the lodges are what I would say mid quality with good food as well for the price if you compare it to other resorts in the area, that is if you can find a spot to sit. Other than that is is a must see to add onto your list and I can certainly agree that it will not be the lowest in your list (A little above mid for the resorts I have visited )

Great small family resort Idaho Friendly, greatly improved with more high speed quads, variable terrain and off trail exploring is technical and fun. Have raised my children to be very proficient skiers at any resort because of cost convenience night skiing and all around fun great mountain!,

I have called their ticket office 150 times this morning to try to buy tickets because their website isn’t working. In the last 150 calls, I have never spoken to anyone. Also the snow at bogus is frequently very icy so you are better off driving a little further to ski somewhere with better snow.

Great local ski option! Thank you Bogus!

Night skiing starts at 3pm, till 10pm. The night pass holders can get a full hour on the Pine Creek chair in daylight, then ski Superior lift till 9:30pm on the backside. The longest lines of the day are frontside chairs at 4 to 5pm. Strange! The snowmaking has helped start the season and made the south facing runs better. Bogus road car lines are in both directions as riders decide which hours they are using the mountain. My season pass day/night costs less than 3 days at many big resorts! Thanks
