Snow Reporter Comments: 3pm Dec 4: Early birds were rewarded this morning with 3 inches of snow falling in the Village mid-morning and Ski Patrol reporting 8 inches at the summit in 24 hours. We had fun turns at the summit with conditions being way better than expected. However, around noon today, the temps warmed up and we saw wintery-mix and some rain in the Village. The forecast for tonight is calling for another 1-3 inches of snow overnight, perfect for our first  Pass Holder First Tracks of this season. Schweitzer Season Pass Holders can load the Great Escape Quad early tomorrow starting at 8:30am. And even better news? The forecast later this week is looking good for some decent accumulation. See you up here ❄️ TT  What's going on this week?Twilight Skiing: Regular Twilight skiing/riding hours: open Fridays and Saturdays from 3:00pm - 7:00pm. As always, check out our Events Page, or This Week at Schweitzer Looking to come up and stay? Check out the Stay More, Save More Flash Sale - Save 20% off lodging when you stay 4 nights starting Jan 4 through Jan 16. Or better yet, save 25% when you stay 5 nights or more.Important Reminder: Ski Patrol is asking everyone to please respect all ropes and closures, they are there for your safety AND the safety of our staff. Exploring might look tempting, but please stay out of closed terrain. Duck a rope and lose your pass.  We will open more terrain as soon as conditions safely allow. With the holidays upon us, extremely limited terrain, and early season conditions - please take it easy out there, stick to the groomed trails, ski with caution and courtesy,  brush up on your winter Safety tips, and enjoy!   Nordic Update: All Nordic trails are open but some areas are still pretty thin- please check the Printable Grooming Report for the today's Nordic grooming status (we currently have a bug as the grooming icons for Nordic are not showing up below) . GRR is still very thin so we highly recommend accessing the Nordic Trails via Lower Overland. Snowshoe trails are open and Snowbike status is Green. If you are sinking, or creating a rut, please come back when conditions are firmer. Help us preserve the snow we have and make it easier on the grooming team in these low snow conditions.
