Stood in lines for 3 hours in the cold for lift ticket & skis that were pre ordered & paid in full online. Lift operators let several people pile up getting off lift before they will shut it down & clear the path.

  • not a bad set up for a small place like this.
  • No trained help & complete rip off!

I have visited Snow Creek many times in the past, and really enjoyed it. I would love to be able to rate the experience, but have to rate the poor business practices. I ordered ski passes for my family through their partner Epic Ski Pass/Vail Resorts. I was supposed to receive the passes in February. I was told they were mailed. To date I have yet to receive them. I have contacted multiple parties at Epic/Vail, and no one will help. I am told that passes are non-refundable. Snow Creek has since closed for the season, so I am now waiting on passes that will likely never come and I can not use. I simply want my money back, but no one will help. I am beyond frustrated. What was supposed to be a fun experience for my family and my two young boys has become something that makes me never want to do business with any of the associated parties ever again. All I want it is to be treated respectfully and honestly, and that has yet to happen. What a mess. These people have stolen from me.

  • Great Resort, Terrible Business Practices
  • Epic Ski Pass/Vail Resorts are thieves

Snow Creek used to be a wholesome family-owned resort. In the past few years it has really gone downhill. Worst of all is they are forcing all patrons including children to show paperwork for proof of vaccination to be able to dine in at the their lodge. This is not a restriction imposed on Snow Creek by local ordinance but voluntarily imposed by Snow Creek.

  • Beginner Friendly
  • Vaccine Paperwork Required to eat.

Great place for beginners, or young children just learning to ski. The area is small enough you don’t have to hawk your elementary school aged kids. You can all the green runs from the porch area. The tow rope can be a bit tough for smaller children, but the tiger lift can drop them off and the can ski over to the same terrain. Overall it’s a positive experience.

  • Great for beginners or young children learning
  • Not a lot of difficulty for experienced skiers.

I am by no means a ski snob I grew up either slumming it out at Mt Baker and 49 degrees north on runs buried in pow, chill vibes, and terrain steep enough to make a kid cry sometimes, or dodging rich people at Stevens pass tearing up groomers. I came into Snow Creek with fairly low expectations having only skied fairly big mountain resorts on the west coast. I showed up in a pair of coveralls a ball cap and a pair of leather mitts I bought for 12 bucks at a hardware store. Despite feeling extremely under dressed compared to what I usually ski in I was unaware of how much fun I was going to have at the creek. I got the college pass for 40 bucks and got my skis from the excellent rental center. the people behind the counter seemed tired but were extremely helpful. I met up with my buddies and we took a lap on the smaller chair to warm up. so far so good. We hit Show Me next and Ill tell ya the lifties are super chill guys and if you are nice and say hey and joke around with them they are just as good as any of the guys and gals I've came across at any other resort. The runs were overall pretty good I hadn't skied for about a year so i didn't go absolutely full send but I was able to hit the bowl and six shooter pretty good and got some great turns early in the night. As the night went on the snow began to re freeze and this is where problems arose. You would start to see these big icy spots develop on the runs and if you hit one just right you'd have to stop for a sec and regain your balance. Also while being a Midwestern ski area with way less snow than we get in the cascades, it is a shame that you are relegated to just the trails as there seems like there is some decent tree skiing to be had if those areas got some snow. Overall though a good little resort with decently steep terrain and good vibes to appease my appetite for skiing while i'm out here for college

  • Great price, Nice Resort, Well built runs
  • Can get Icy, short runs, machine snow

Great slope for beginners with good instructors. The Ski lodge is really excellent with a good restaurant and a nice little bar upstairs for apres ski. We're really lucky to have it here near KC !!!

  • only 300 feet vertical / short season

Use to Breckenridge runs but took my girlfriend to teach her how to ride before taking her to breck. TP was decent but it was short runs.

  • Good place to teach
  • Short and not too challenging
