The King Pine snow report for Mar 30 is a 26" base depth with 3 of 5 lifts open. Please note ski conditions and snowfall at King Pine are sourced directly from the ski resort and are only recorded during the official ski season's opening to closing dates.
Snow Reporter Comments: After another 5” yesterday of fresh accumulation we’ll be closing out the season today with three lifts running and 100% of our terrain still open for all skiing and riding abilities. With the exception of Pitch Pine, Pine Brule, and White Pine all trails are scheduled to be groomed and begin with yesterday’s new snow mixed in with loose granular corduroy. Thin spots are showing and will be marked, but please continue to use caution. Don’t forget about the Pond Skim beginning at 1:00pm!
XC/Snowshoe: The Purity Spring Resort XC & Snowshoe Reserve is closed for the season.
"Alpine Touring" is allowed in accordance with our Uphill Access Policy on the frontside of the mountain via Scotch Pine and on the backside of the mountain via Slow Pokey Pine. Uphill New England passholders, please check in using QR Code located on signs posted at trailheads, inside Milts Place lodge or at main base lodge ticket desk.
King Pine sits in a valley in the White Mountains National Forest and primarily serves the beginner and intermediate skier or snowboarder. That's not to say there aren't some steeps. The sheltered location protects the slopes from cold winds making most ski and ride days pleasant. The resort is known for it's family-friendly atmosphere, affordability and great grooming. The vertical is a short 350 feet, so keeping track of the kids is easy. Guests will love the adjacent Purity Spring Resort, where they can find lodging, home-style food and world class amenities.
