Plenty of snow on the trails and fun spring conditions

Spring conditions big time. Mid mountain to lower base littered with ice and bare spots. Many trails are open that were left ungroomed. Dangerous for inexperienced. Anything groomed was soft and buttery. Bring your bibs, you’ll need em.

Perfect north east afternoon skiing. Great coverage, sun softened snow and no lines!!

Interesting weather today. Extreme fog/ dense cloud cover. Flurries with 2-3” accumulation 1/2 way up the mountain. Rain at the base. Skiing on the lower 1/3rd was near impossible with the wet snow. The morning up until 12pm was excellent with only a few trails closed.

Crispy, snowy groomers slopes abound. High peaks and Straight Brook have a mixed of groomes and natural moguls. Some runs are closed, probably saving them for the long weekend. Plenty of snowmaking occuring, building up some big whales, again preparing for the weekend.

02/05/2024 Snow was pretty hard in the morning and softened slightly later in the day.

Taken Tuesday January 28th, Gore finally got some natural snow! Makes a huge difference from the recent conditions.
