Crispy, snowy groomers slopes abound. High peaks and Straight Brook have a mixed of groomes and natural moguls. Some runs are closed, probably saving them for the long weekend. Plenty of snowmaking occuring, building up some big whales, again preparing for the weekend.

Taken Tuesday January 28th, Gore finally got some natural snow! Makes a huge difference from the recent conditions.

I love Gore but Was prob a 4.5 out of 10. Dust on crust most runs. Stay on the sides if you snowboard and sharpen your edges. Wasn’t terrible. But wasn’t great. They need a storm.

Sunny skies and zero wind gave way to light afternoon snow. Fast and firm, traverses a breeze. fair amount of ice but usually avoidable. Moxham felt like a steamroller groomed it, the only real negative. Fantastic day.

Decided to come up before my inauguration unfortunately I was not impressed with the snowmaking capabilities of this mountain.

I checked at 845 am on the website and the gondola was supposed to run; then I get here and Gondola is not running and they lie and say it was posted on the website. Echo is closed for racing and they only have 30 trails open. The snowmaking at Belleayre is so much better. Don’t waste your time on ...

I guess their definition of making snow and actually making snow are miles apart. Continues to disappoint. Straightbrook didn’t open until 11 ish? Because they were moving snow guns. Maybe do that prior to opening the mountain. And when we got up there where exactly were you making snow? Not good. ...

Frozen in the morning and slush in the afternoon. Zero crowds skied right on every lift. Not a lot open but cold temps on the way.
