One of the great NZ club ski hills. Great uncrowded off piste with a friendly vibe.

This was the first club ski area I ever went to, its been a few years since i have been but i thought i would post this review anyway, and would go back if i got the chance.
I first got there not knowing what to expect, all i was expecting was brilliant terrain and BR delivered in style! there is an endless supply of advanced terrain to play in
another good thing about BR is that it stays open through bad weather where other places might be shut.
BR is a great ski club!
Broken River is a club field on the CraigieBurn Range. Facilities are basic and getting there is not easy so it's not the place for most skiers or snowboarders.
But if you're willing to put in the effort (you have to walk to the field), put up with rope tows (yes rope tows) and not be bothered with no facilities then its a great place. The sort of place where people are more interested in how keen you are about your skiing/snowboarding rather than what you're wearing or where you've been
worthy, the way skiing needs to be kept- about the skiing.
