Mt. Olympus Trail Map
Mt. Olympus’ terrain is centered around a large open basin flanked by steep ridgelines and powder-filled bowls. The skiable area covers 15 km of trails with a vertical drop of 450 meters, offering a compact but varied mountain layout. The resort is served by 5 surface lifts, including rope tows and platters, which connect skiers to different zones across the mountain.
Beginners will find limited terrain near the base, where gentle slopes and consistent grooming provide a safe space to build skills. The lower rope tow accesses the easiest runs, and while the resort isn’t designed for first-timers, confident learners can enjoy the mellow terrain with support from instructors.
Intermediate skiers can explore the central bowl and adjacent ridgelines, where rolling terrain and natural transitions make for engaging runs. The platter lift provides access to trails with moderate pitch and scenic views, perfect for skiers looking to refine technique or enjoy relaxed cruising.
Advanced skiers will appreciate the steeper chutes and off-piste options available in the upper basin and ridgeline zones. These areas offer variable snow conditions, natural obstacles, and terrain that rewards agility and control. The hike-to zones are especially popular after fresh snowfall, with deep stashes and minimal traffic.
Expert skiers can push further into the backcountry-style terrain, where steep descents and technical lines challenge even seasoned riders. The upper ridge and west-facing bowls provide opportunities for high-angle skiing and creative route-finding. Snow conditions can vary, so checking the daily report is essential.
While Mt. Olympus doesn’t have a traditional terrain park, natural features like lips, drops, and gullies offer freestyle opportunities. The resort’s layout encourages exploration, and the lack of crowds means more freedom to carve your own path. Whether you're chasing powder or linking turns on groomers, the terrain is diverse, rewarding, and refreshingly uncrowded.
