Loch Lomond Ski Area offers skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. The resort is 10 minutes from Thunder Bay off of Highway 61 North. The resort recently increased snowmaking capacity and purchased new equipment for snowmaking for the halfpipe.

Ski shops, retail shop, ski and snowboard rentals and repairs, and lessons. Lockers at the area and complete shopping in town. Hospital is 10 miles away. Cafeteria and bar at hill and upper and lower decks with BBQ.
If you are into skiing hard, Loch Lomond is by far the best lift area skiing between the Rockies and the Laurentians.
The Giant is exhilarating for hard-carving SG turns and tucking at 20 over the highway speed limit on very hard-pack.
