Ian

Grew up as a racer on the BMR team and skied there for 15 years. I will agree anything past 11am up to 6pm on a weekend is crowded and snow tends to get soft. If quality of snow and emptiness of trail is what you want then skis during the week or early morning or night where there tends to be no lines, and nearly no people, trail are firm but not ice on the easier trails. The staff is and would gladly answer any questions, or help you with what you need. Prices on food is not the greatest but the food is good and filling. There is paid parking for the closer spots and the spot that are not paid for are filling by 8am. All and all this is a great mountian only a handful of downsides, and most come from the number of people who ski or ride at Blue.
