A ski resort's overall star rating displayed here is not calculated based on a simple average but takes several factors, including the age of a review, into account.
This is the closest place to snowboard for me. I love the place but this year they jacked the prices by $20 and less than half of the trails are open. The ones that are open are crowded. I just can't justify paying +$80 for a long lift line and not even get full use of the place.

This was the first resort I went to this season and I had a lot of fun. The only bad thing about the resort was that the mountain was small and there were few trails to choose from for beginners and intermediates

This is a small mountain. There are days where all 6-8,000 rental gear is sold out (resorts out west sometimes cap number of skiers at 7,000 and they have 100s of acres). Met a guy who spent 4 hours in rental line for snowboard (why didn’t he turn around??) lift lines incredibly long. vail is saying it’s due to Covid and staff shortages, but frankly there are too many people on the mountain on weekends. Just go on weekdays!!!!

As Liberty being my home mountain, I have grown to love liberty but there are still many problems. It takes 20 minutes for the lift to take you up and it takes 3 minutes to go down the mountain because of the really short trails. It also takes a really long time to get the lift tickets from the 2 booths that they have open. Otherwise, when there is nice snow, you will gave a great time.

Ever since Vale purchased the resort things are a mess - money making, people hating place. First, the ticket prices have increased a significant amount. Additionally, how ridiculous is it that someone has to wait more than an hour to pick up tickets already purchased because the 3 pm passes aren't allowed to be put on the cards? Or why are we not allowed to print our tickets at home? Or why aren't there Kiosks in addition to the staff to expedite this process? What a shame.

Younger employees nice. Older employees had attitudes. Need a railing on snow tubing ramp as it moves automatically up to snow tubing area.
Not equipped outfitted under the American Disability Act guidelines.

Just got back from Liberty today - ugh! WAY TOO CROWDED.
Lines for the lifts are 30 mins or more. Line to get your equipment over 2 hours!
They are clearly overwhelmed and horribly understaffed.
Although the staff themselves are lovely and not to blame.
Try somewhere else, my friends!

I had an issue with some tickets that I had reserved and Robyn and Kathleen were very helpful.

Liberty is a amazing ski resort. Not only is the trails easy to remember but a lot of the trail are "family trails". The ski season is over now and I really miss the resort.
