The people that work here were super sweet. Feels like people are a real community. Not fancy like many of the mountains of this size to ski on. Good size. Note: we drove here in the way from Montreal to Quebec City. We got there so late we ended up only getting a run or two before they closed up. Would not recommend. When driving back to QC, a car had flipped over on the road we took there due to ice. Make me second guess the decision to drive there. I went down into one glade run that was just 5-10ft drops into tree wells. No fresh snow at the time - it was rather a mistake. The other runs were pretty good though.
Local mountain that's lovely.
It's a local mountain. It's not huge. Getting there takes a while.

I have tried to ski here twice but was only able to once...again the lift issue, it shut down due to 25km wind, gusts to 35. Conversely I have skiied Orford in straight 35km winds and no lifts were closed, as well as Mt St Anne. They actually shut the lift down 30 minutes after opening and we had to wait almost 1.5hrs for someone to show up with some authority, to give us all a credit voucher for next time. It was chaos!
1 lift is not enough..could be time for an infrastructure investment...and depending on wind direction, 1 lift can become 0 lifts

Le Massif is by far my favourite ski destination in QC, mostly due to its large off-piste area. Very well maintained throughout with a community feel as there is no village but rather a single lodge at the top with all you need. One of the best parts of Le Massif is the amazing view as you ride. Its unconventional because you start your day at the top of the hill where the parking is and a newcomer will lose their breathe at the start of the first run.
Backcountry, big mountain feel in Quebec
