A ski resort's overall star rating displayed here is not calculated based on a simple average but takes several factors, including the age of a review, into account.
Fun terrain, with short but pitchy runs. With around 30 top-to-bottom trails, you can ski various slopes, from large groomers to narrow bumpy runs. Nothing is crazy steep, but if you know where to look, there is plenty to have fun. Prices are reasonable for the region and its size, but the fixed-grip lifts are slow and exposed to the wind. Perfect for families and intermediate skiers. It's nothing like Tremblant but the quality of the grooming and the low skier density makes it a fun alternative.

Mont blanc is known for it’s family friendly and relax ambiance but it is quite a « pitchy » mountain. There are 3 easy slopes from bottom down for biginners. Most of the slopes are for intermediate and advanced skiers. The main mountain is composed of two sides, the mont blanc and mont fautin (same peak, different orientation) and the third side is on an other mountain (the North). It’s an old fashion ski area, old lodge, old fix grip lifts and that gives a good vibe to the place. With 5 lifts working, there is little to no wait time most days. It’s got 43 combined runs but 28 top to bottom run options. With just a little over 600 ft vertical, it’s not mont tremblant (same vertical as st sauveur and olympia). The main chalet offers cafeteria and has a bar. The food is ok, nothing fancy but the price is resonable. I strongly recommend for families with kids that can ski, people who like doing many runs in a day without waiting and people who won’t get bored with ≈ 600 ft vertical. The north side is my favorite. For 70$ for an adult, it’s in a normal price range. You get more for your buck here than at St-sauveur.

Over all this was my best ski vacation ever! First of all, the mountain is great! Always great conditions and usually has all the runs open! Mont Blanc is a pretty big mountain and has lots of great runs for any ski ability. There is a much bigger choice of runs for kids compared to other big mountains in the area like Tremblant. The village and hotel/condos are very nice and big, great for family vacations! The cafe is great for lunches and much more high quality food for a ski lodge compared to any other ski mountains. We stayed there over New Year’s Eve so we decided to go to their New Year’s Eve party. The party was AMAZING! The food was beyond delicious and it was lots of fun! And finally the staff are very wonderful, nice, and helpful! I would definitely suggest this ski resort to anyone who likes to ski or snowboard.

Have been twice now. As a very green skier going on my own with 3 kids I found this a fantastic hill. We went over March Break, the kids had group lessons in the morning and private in the afternoon. I had one lesson. The instructors were encouraging and friendly, and the snow school offered to adapt our lesson booking to more suit the kids. I can’t speak much about the slopes as I only went down a couple. I do think the beginners run does have one steep spot that is difficult for newbies. My kids loved the play structure a great bonus to tire them out even more after skiing. Not too crowded during the week. Only con I wish the Ontario March Break group lessons had an afternoon lesson too.

We usually ski at Saint Sauveur but decided to go up to Mont Blanc for the day with the kids. Mont Blanc feels like twice the size, and has more interesting runs with more turns and variety. The cost was about the same but we had a much better ski and less crowded. It's an old-fashioned style mountain with guys to swing the chairs while you get in the lift, and has a more relaxed feel than Tremblant and Sauveur. We had a fantastic day, so did the kids. We'd highly recommend it. The cafeteria has a nice location and a nice fireplace in the back, but the food is not great.
The prices are very good, but you get what you pay for, the mountain is not bigger than Mont-Olympia. The Vertical Rise is about ~ 190m maximum. I don't know how/where they find 300m.
I recomande this mountain for families.
My family and I spend 3 days here Mid Jan, Condo was great, clean, reasonable cost, with use of resort area's
Discount lift passes, and reasonable lessons for kids make this a great family spot.
After Ski, kids played in Jungle Magique, swam, ect, great value that's extra other places
Hill was very busy on Sat, hit single's line/moved around hill to avoid wait, Sunday was more reasonable
Trails were very well groomed, steepness on some of the blue/black was more than expected.
Not much in village area of St Faustin, St Jovie was not that far away.
I've been skiing at Mont Blanc all my life and I've visited other hils and realized that Mont Banc is one of the best. Mont Blanc has runs for the whole family, from begginer, intermediate and advanced. Their is alot of varity to choose from, the runs are maintain nicely, with a great ski school. I recomend it to all family's with children from all ages!
Good hill that many people miss on the way to Tremblant. Family focus with a good variety of runs- never feel out of place with our family lunches brought from home. Although my kids weren't impressed with the snow park. I go there a number of times during the season. Quick drive from Montreal with decent pitches. Right off the highway so ease with driving.
