Skied there Dec 31, 2011.
Cascades is one of my favorite local hills. We went up with friends and spent 3-4 hours skiing. Not bad for our 2nd time out this year.
Hill was a little crowded but there were no real lift lines.
Only 6 runs were open... so the runs that were open were more crowded and snow bare than I'd like.
Conditions were fair due to the new snow that had fallen that morning.

I have skiied here many times over the years. my kids all grew up on this hill and it is still one of the most family friendly areas in Canada.
Mont Cascades is a wonderful place for families to ski and progress forward with skills . The runs are fun and not vanilla with typical Canadian Sheild variations ! Lots of blues with a smattering of blacks to help hone your edges! Cutting edge snowmaking and grooming equipment ensure a positive experience for all . The night skiing is wonderful , well lit and usually uncrowded. I have introduced my two boys to skiing on these hills and they have really taken off!!!!
