Andrea

I liked the set-up at Stoneham. The place feels like your are out in the middle of nowhere, but you are 20 minutes from Quebec city. We went on a Friday during the day and it was pretty quiet. No line ups for lifts or food. Lots of places to store your stuff. One of the lifts was down so we couldn't really get to one part of the hill. The mountian is quite a bit smaller than Mont Ste. Anne, but they are related hills, so you can use their Loyalty-type Card there. The kids liked going through the green glades area, but it was too easy to get out-of-bounds and end up on the wrong trail (like my 6 year old did). They should use more snow fencing to guide people in the glade. I liked their rating system. Blues felt like blues, not blacks, even though they had icy parts. They have some great long cruising greens. It was a bit more interesting than straight down skiing. I'd go back.
