James A,.

I grew up skiing Beaver Mountain, still one of my most favorite places to ski. It just feels like home, family friendly. Runs are a little limited due to the size of the mountain, but it is a lot of fun to take the family. Lodge is always busy and full of people, it really needs to be expanded. Value is great, if you are skiing the family, look into the season passes for locals, a great value. Not a lot of steep and deep, but as I get older I get the less of that I ski. All the snow is from the sky, so on low snow years watch for rocks, best skiing is when they have between 80-100 inches. At about 48 inches, all the rocks are pretty much covered.
