Upper mountain winds strong gust over 80kms. Closed the upper lifts and express. Eagle off and on. Great conditions until then. Chalets packed.

Dec 29 - tons of snow and not too busy, couple minutes at most to get on lift. All the lifts and runs had so much loose snow and just a few rocks exposed in steeper areas.

Honestly very good conditions, already better than at any point last year. Still some untracked snow in some areas, and more arriving daily it seems. Not busy at all, surprising for the Saturday before Christmas. Knob chair just opened but conditions up at the top aren't great.

Here my second day, powder at the top has been great both days, Lower is taking some rain today but just dumping some great snow at the top

Great day despite some difficult visibility at times. Full coverage with lots of new snow and the lower temp prevented any rain. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Excellent snow coverage everywhere I've been today. Very lumpy/chunky where not groomed, however. Large groomed track off the knob chair "for the first time in history", per the whiteboard at the top of the lift.
