Snow Reporter Comments: Fri 22 August, 07:00AM The Fun Continues! It looks like a day of user-friendly and fun turns on the hill. There is a little fog being blown through the village by a stiff northerly wind and the forecast is calling for showers or snow later on, but there is nothing too threatening on the radar, so I expect it'll stay mostly dry for the day. It's been a mild night; the current temp is 1.7 and we are heading for a top of 3 degrees. Although the snowpack did not freeze overnight, there is a slight wind glaze on the surface, which will break down very quickly. There should be really good turns on the groomers from the get-go, before all areas soften further for spring-like fun as the day progresses. HV will open at 7.30 for WRX First Tracks this morning. It looks like another spell of great weather coming up for the weekend... so get up here if you can!
