The most fun I have ever had skiing in trees. Absolutely no lines ever except on a powder day at the gondola but everyone goes off to the huge backcountry so you never see them again.
Trees, snow and no people

Took my family to ski here and got here after a large dump of snow. Excited for all that I had heard about this mountain I was extremely disappointed to see a 45-60 minute wait at the only gondola that moves the people up the mountain. The second major disappointment was after exiting the first gondola you have two options. You can exit to the Stoke chair (which only access the bottom 1/8 of the mountain)or you can ski 100m and wait at the next chair that almost takes you to the top, here you can either hike the rest of the way up the mountain (to access the back bowl) or traverse across to access a few runs with poor fall lines. The third disappointment was the lack of true green/blue runs , as my daughter pointed out as she is new to snowboarding (competent skiers transitioning to snowboarding) the only real green run is the narrow cat track that traverses back and forth up the mountain. Overall I was extremely disappointed about all the hype this mountain gets! Even with the great snow this mountain receives it moves people poorly (lots of bottle necks) and is way over rated. Revelstoke needs to look at other great ski hills like Sun Peaks , Big White, Fernie, Lake Louise before it be can be named a great hill.,
Good snow
Poor lift set up , does not move people well, not a family or beginner friendly hill. If you want to ski all the named runs be prepared to hike. Lift tickets are to expensive you shouldn’t have to walk to access the whole mountain

Hope it doesn’t out grow itself. Great trees and powder possibilities.
Great snow and trees
Single thread to top.

What a spectacular mountain. Long challenging runs that are absolute leg burners. One of the greatest places in N. America for serious skiers.
One of the best mountains in N. America terrain wise
Can be a line getting up the Gondola on a power day. Can be foggy at times

As a beginner I truly appreciate the stellar chair learning area. It’s the best place to learn. I appreciate that I can enjoy the stellar chair area while my companion goes off to enjoy the stoke or ripper chair areas. He enjoys knowing I’m happy and safe. It’s got literally all we could ask for. This is the best resort in Canada.
Amazing place for learners
Limited seating at outpost

Hike the stoke traverse the ridge and ski the back of mountain. UNBELIEVABLE Revi is excellent for extreme skiing.
A absolutely incredible place to ski
LEGS WILL BURN

We had a fabulous mid-week ski trip. The snow conditions were excellent. The lift lines were short to non-existent. Mask requirements were annoying.
Diverse ski options
Many narrow collector trails

Love this hill. There is so much skiable terrain that you can "find" if you keep looking! Yes, there are only a few lifts, but they are well-placed and fewer lifts means that things don't get skied out as quickly! I've had some of my best ski days here, and I've been skiing here since Day 1.
Loooonnnng runs = less lift time
Conditions below mid-mountain variable
I don't understand what all the hype is about. Only the top 1/3 of the mountain is skiable. There are only 2 lifts & you need to ski all the way to bottom to get the vertical. Once you ski below the top of the gondola the snow quality is poor due to low base elevation.. I got bored after skiing here 2 days. Really only 1000 of the advertised 3000 is skiable due to the lack of lifts. If you want to lift, cat, heli ski & backcountry I guess it would be ok. If you want to do backcountry, Revelstoke would get a great place. I came here once but would not come back. I would rather go to Whistler or Banff due to a much better lift network & infrastructure. I'm used to skiing Utah, Aspen, Whistler & other places with lots of lifts & infrastructure. Revelstoke is too underdeveloped for my standards.
Steep & powder
Limited lift network

Skied Revelstoke for 4 days last week. Temps were in high 30's (F) so there was rain at bottom of mt but snow at top. Great steeps and LOVED the trees, especially when it was snowing and visibility was poor. Eat before hitting the mt. Only options for food once you leave base is Outpost and seating is limited. At base, several good eats. Favorite was La Baguette for breakfast croissant and latte!. Will return. Drive from Calgary was not bad but was helped out by favorable weather so I did not get Revelstuck...
Lots of Vert, steeps and trees
