I am a Trip Leader with the Bluewater Ski Club and we spent a week at Silver Star second week of March. Snow conditions were fantastic. Made sure to get early lifts to enjoy the great groomed runs. Great hill for the intermediate and beginner skier. Advanced skiers in the group enjoyed the challenging black and double blacks. Nice village with many places to grab a snack and beverage. I would highly recommend Long Johns Pub for its great atmosphere and service. The express lunch is served hot and right away. Had a steak there for dinner one night and it was perfect. Stayed at the Chilcoot Lodge and enjoyed it very much. Kitchen is not very big but you can still cook a great meal. Beds were like sleeping in a cloud, and had a great view of the mountains. I would definitely return to Silver Star with or without our Club.
