We got up gunbarrel on the California side around 9:45am and that first run was about as fresh as it gets. Limited access beyond powder bowl due to conditions but it was still fantastic. 27 and 28 Feb were bluebird days with great snow and mild temps. Blizzard started 29 Feb and has been raging right through 2 March. Very few lifts and runs open due to high winds. There’s about 3 feet of snow at lake level with another foot or so coming.

2/26 - 3/1. Disappointing week. Winds closed the mountain Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday we skied and both were nice sunny days. Then winds again closed most of the mountain, especially the Nevada side where we were, on Thursday and Friday. So we skied 2 out of 5 days. Never had that happen bef...
