Bluebird day. Flocked trees and clear skies with fluffy clouds. Light dusting overnight.

Started off very icy. Wind was ferocious and very hazy. Began to snow mid afternoon and did almost continuously the rest of the day. Very variable conditions. Powder on top of ice. Some runs were great others were very icy based on the whims if the winds.

Great afternoon at Heavenly. I heard icy in the morning but it softened up for a very decent afternoon of skiing. Much less crowded today than last Friday. Beautiful weather today. Some snow is coming but a bigger storm is needed if we want a good spring season.

Spring conditions, some icy areas that get softer during the afternoon. Moguls have been icy and almost imposible to ski in the mornings but by noon they start to be doable. Great views with the blue bird skies

Skied at Heavenly on Feb. 24th and they decided to close most of the lifts due to "wind". The gondola was not running and there was no way to get from Nevada to California. The winds were not extreme enough to close the lifts and lifts lower on the mountain with very little wind were closed too. Thi...

Super warm conditions, snow is sticky, lines are long and the terrain is just okay. Needs to snow. Beautiful views. Feels like spring skiing.
