Most epic sauce mountian in california (I havent been to tahoe), very fun for the whole family, many squeals and delights will be had. You can eat it on their double blacks at the top, or be a voluntary bowling pin on their gentle green slopes (i may run you over if you are in my way). The overall mountain is great. If staying for more than 2 days go get some normal food at the vons, other food is much to exspensive. The staff is very friendly (sometimes a wee bit faded), but overall very awesome. Watch out for chill guys smoking weed under chair 5

I love Mammoth because it’s close but it is starting to get very crowded. Hoping that snowmaking can be focused on Canyon and Eagle lodge lifts to keep more of the mountain open throughout the year.

I’ve skied all over California, Colorado, Germany and Austria. Overall, Mammoth is by far the best overall. Yes not perfect in all areas, but nothing compares to the overall experience for all levels of skier. I could go on for days about this place, but if you’ve ever been, or talked to anyone who has, or even looked at advertisements, you k ow what I mean.
If you have never been, you MUST put this on your short list for a great week or long weekend of skiing and all the other fun activities!!!

The drive from LA is a lot but it’s a solid mountain across the board. Don’t feel like I’m losing much at all when I go there vs Utah/Colorado mountains

worst place I ever skied, there are vey litmeted options for food/drinks and not a lot of hotels I will not retrun to Mammoth, the food is terrible and made me sick i Had to go to ER in Mammouth hospital, I broke my leg because the repair shop in canyon lodge did wrong adjustment to my skies.

Ethan and Karen in the ticket line made for a very accommodating and personal experience. Super friendly and generous people. Can’t wait for our next visit when we have hero’s like them to make our day special!

I love Mammoth and have been skiing there for years. However, the music the resort plays in the locker rooms and ski area is horrible. Mammoth needs to bring back Rock n’ Roll. Please un-break my heart and let Rock n’ Roll reign at Mammoth, again.

I have been to mammoth on 4 separate occasions. Each time a storm would come in and shut down the mountain. You do not want to be at the mountain during the storm. The lifts shut down and funnel everyone to the base where the lines can stack up. Besides this, mammoth is an awesome mountain. Great terrain for advanced and expert skiers that want to get into some grizzly stuff.

Mammoth is wonderful, except for the creepy gondola supervisor I always enjoy it!
