Guess it was rain the last few days it’s hardpack thin layer on top of ice base. The only decent run was west ridge otherwise get sharpened edges

Surface is holding up really well few icy spots on summit run to be expected with all the traffic however nice surface on log chute easy to get an edge

This was last Saturday. No snow at all. The only tow slopes open on the front side were thin and icy. Hardly worth the drive up Big Bear. Today, I noticed they closed the resort temporarily. We need snow in Big Bear desperately.

Decent coverage for summit run and lower miracle mile trouble is after things had been going for a while ended up skiing/skating on the base
