Snow Reporter Comments: ⚠️ Last updated: Sunday, March 15, 6:30AMGood morning from Snow Summit. Forecasts are calling for sunny skies with a high near 70 today, with temperatures continuing to warm through the week and approaching 80 degrees by next week. Snow Summit is open daily and there is currently no closing date scheduled. Spring conditions are here, which means plenty of sunny laps to enjoy. Be sure to bring sunblock and stay hydrated while you're out on the mountain. You may notice lift tickets are available for purchase on the calendar through April 12. This is not the official closing date. Our operations team evaluates conditions each week and makes decisions on a week-by-week basis. If you purchase a lift ticket and the resort closes before your scheduled visit, our team will contact you directly with next steps. Be sure to check back here, as this section is updated daily and often multiple times throughout the day. The Grizzly Ridge Tube Park will close for the season by end of day TODAY, Sunday, March 15.Please note that the intermountain shuttle is not running today, but it will resume this weekend, Friday through Sunday, providing service between Snow Summit and Bear Mountain so you can enjoy both mountains. As always, mountain conditions can change quickly throughout the day due to weather, safety, and operational needs. Lift and trail access may vary, and lift tickets are non-refundable during or after your visit based on availability. Our team evaluates conditions every morning to bring you the best possible experience. The sweet spot is typically 9AM to 11AM. That’s when you’ll find freshly groomed corduroy and crisp mountain air at over 7,000 feet. As the sun climbs higher, the snow softens into that spring-style surface. Some call it slushy; we call it fun! The softer texture can be more forgiving, making it especially great for beginners building confidence and dialing in their turns. At this time, the team does not plan to turn on snowmaking for the remainder of the 25/26 winter season.
