Copper has consistently been one of my favorite ski areas, with and easy to navigate lift lines, good people, and incredible terrain for all levels. Many of the reviews that I have been seeing about lifelines at copper, are frankly dumb. The key is to get on the slopes early, leave early if you would like, considering terrain can go downhill after lunch rush, which is another thing you want to avoid. Just eating from 10-12 or 2-3 can prevent major lift lines once everyone is back on the mountain, and can make for some awesome runs. Avoid weekends if you can, and park early, or feel free to sit in long lines, and write another review, but overall I believe copper deserves a five star review…... Full Review
Terrible service. Broke my tibia while skiing, snow patrol was perfect, but at the clínic people were not helpful ( except for the emergency care guy) or nice. Had me signing papers and repeating the same things over and over . Pain medication didn't help. Had to go to my room at the lodging jumping the stairs on one foot. Each step left me in pain and exhausted. Not a wheel chair available and the clínic won't lend them. They didn"t let my car get into the parking lot ( where I could have used the elevator). At the end they agreed to let the car in and I was wheeled out in a luggage cart. BtW the skis bindings were not for beginners, as I asked, and didnt release. That was one of the reason's why mi leg was fractured. Told the guys at the rental and they didn't asume any responsability and wouldn't give the money of the remaining days back. Also the resort didn"t give us the refund of the unused tickets. Really?? A ski resort without wheelchairs?? I had a really bad time. Have been to vail's clinic in another ocassion, it was a completely different experience... Full Review
For my money, Copper is the best skiing along the front range without the attitude and hassle of Vail. Great terrain, lifts provide easy and fast distribution of skiers to slopes of all difficulties, and the village and vibe are old school Colorado without the snobbery and attitude of some of the other mountains. Check Copper out, you'll love it!... Full Review

We have visited Copper each year around Christmas. We booked our 4 pack lift tickets early in the year. We were booked to go Colorado December 27th and I came down with Covid December 21st. I had to cancel the trip. The airlines and the condo we booked all gave us vouchers for a year. Copper has refused to give us a voucher for our lift tickets. We were going to try and go and now my two kids have Covid. It is so disappointing that they refuse to give us a voucher for the following year seeing that we are in a pandemic. I was also told that there is no one to talk to about the situation. I will not be returning to this ski resort again. ... Full Review
A group of 5 of us from 4 different households booked a stay at Copper Mountain for February 2021. We unfortunately had to cancel due to COVID related lodging restrictions which would force us to purchase multiple rooms rather than the single room we had already reserved, which would cost a tremendous amount more. We paid over $1500 as a group for our lift tickets and Copper Mountain is refusing to provide vouchers to be used next year! They are taking our $1500 for NOTHING in return. We are not asking for our money back, but simply for a voucher. Each pass comes with a Passholder Promise which includes a voucher should the resort close for 7 consecutive days or 21 days total in the season due to COVID, but does not address COVID related lodging restrictions which were put in place AFTER we booked our trip, therefore they will not give us a voucher. DO NOT BOOK IN ADVANCE WITH THEM because if COVID gets in the way, they don't care. They just want your money.... Full Review
Copper Mountain ripped our group of 5 out of over $1500.00. I do not recommend booking anything with them because they will find a way to keep your money and give you nothing in return. The housing rules imposed by the state of Colorado due to COVID made it so that our group of 5 could not stay in the same condo and would need to rent 4 condos because you could not stay with family of friends unless you live in the same house hold. Copper Mountain would not refund our money or give us credit for tickets for a later date next season. They do not care about their customers and will never get our business again. ... Full Review
Copper used to be my goto pre Covid. Now their "reservation" IGNORES season passholders. I've been consistently skiing and spending money at Copper for 16 years. Now the parking reservation system has no link to a pass, no weekend days are available until the end of March. If this doesn't change I will not be renewing and requesting a refund for this season. I fully understand the need for public safety, but the system isn't working. It's wrought with opportunity for fraud. I've heard of parking spot reservations being sold for hundreds of dollars, just like concert ticket scalping. Wake up and pay attention to those who have been faithful supporters. Vail has a much better system, for the first time EVER I chose them overy Copper.... Full Review
As a long time Copper Mountain fan I have proudly claimed Copper as one of my favorite ski mountains in Colorado for 30 years. However when they closed early due to Covid 19 in 2020, their policy to offer a $50 credit for 4 days remaining on my 2020 ski pass was unacceptable to me. When I tried to explain why Copper should allow my pass to be used in the upcoming season they denied my request and told me that 4 days is skiing was worth a $50 credit. Very disappointed!... I have a pass the includes other mountains but I keep coming back to Copper. There is a great beginner area that is set apart from other areas so beginners don't get freaked out by fast skiers. The intermediate terrain is fabulous. I am an advanced skier but not expert. I like to ski moguls and there are so many mogul runs that I often don't get to all of them. They vary in steepness from not too steep to pretty steep so there is something for everyone. I have family members who are intermediates who think this is the perfect mountain. It is definitely the perfect mountain for my level as well.
