A ski resort's overall star rating displayed here is not calculated based on a simple average but takes several factors, including the age of a review, into account.
Preferred over 3 other SE MI hills even though others have “steeper” runs. Bar food is edible, cafeteria fare is tolerable, which is more than can be said for the offerings of other 3 hills. Local youth are entitled brats, but you get used to them. Best in the local area if you are unable to head up north for the weekend or just looking for some turns after work.

Very good place for lower Michigan.
Beach Party was Outstanding!!

I live in this area and visit Mt. Holly a few time a year. The weather in lower Michigan is inconsistent at best, which is a challenge for snow. However, Mt. Holly does a great job making snow and keeping the trails groomed. I always have a good time when I visit.

Love the whole place. From skiing to eating lol

Holly offers the most vertical in Southern Michigan, combined with their ability to make great snow and grooming I can ski all winter with only a few weather glitches.
I like the down to earth people at Holly, very friendly.
The High speed lift makes the limited length of the runs easier to take.
Food in the Lift Lounge is very good, love the burgers.

I went here a few days after New Year's and was extremely disappointed. I realize you're not going to have a large vertical drop or height like some of the East Coast resorts, but sheeshhh. If a lift ticket here was around $25 I would be able to excuse the poor, icy slopes.

This is a great place to go and ski for a day late. There's a variety of runs that vary in difficulty. The Terrain Park and backcountry isn't great.
