The Bretton Woods snow report for Jan 21 is a 16" base depth with 7 of 10 lifts open. Please note ski conditions and snowfall at Bretton Woods are sourced directly from the ski resort and are only recorded during the official ski season's opening to closing dates.
Snow Reporter Comments: The return of cold temperatures has allowed our snowmaking team to continue their hard work as they push new terrain on Bode's Run and other areas on Mt. Rosebrook! Look for refreshed grooming on our core trails when you arrive today, on top of the 4" of snow we received Sunday night. Remember to bundle up and take some hot chocolate breaks today, as it will be very cold! Weekday lift hours of 9am-4pm will be in effect through Thursday. The Ticket Window, Pass and Guest Service desks, and Equipment rentals in the Base Lodge will be open from 8am-4pm. Other Base Loge services include the Tune Shop 8:30am-4pm, Tree Top Retail 8:30am-4pm and Nash's Logo Wear 10am-5pm.
Today will start in the negative single digits, moving only slightly to positive single digits by the afternoon at the base area. Summit temperatures will remain in the negative single digits throughout the day. Skies will be sunny and partly cloudy. SW winds will be blowing 4-8mph at base and 10-16mph with gusts up to 20mph at the summit. By the end of the week, temperatures will rise and chances for intermittent flurries will become likely.
