Great tree and glade skiing. Some really nice moderately steep black mogul trails throughout the mountain. Nice blue cruisers.
Great variety especially for the size of the mountain

Perfect skiing for all levels, we skied SF two weeks ago and the family loved it.

I love this ski area. Snow conditions have been unpredictable. Can be very icy early and late.
Usually not very crowded, tree skiing is good
slow lifts, terrain park is lackluster
Had an amazing ski day at Ski Sante Fe today (Monday 1-2-2023). First time there. It was snowing all day! Skied mostly blacks and woods. Woods were amazing. Mostly untouched. And the woods are nice and seemed to be trimmed out. Right and left edges of the blacks seemed to be freshies all day! Just wish the top of the mountain was open! Lines were ridiculously long. But expected with it being the New Years Day holiday.
Snow was great today all over the bottom of the mountain.
Top of the mountain is not yet open.

I bought a house in Santa Fe so I could be close to the action. I skied Santa Fe and loved it. I wish it had snow making. The nature snow there is excelllent
Close to Santa Fa, excellent skiing, great staff,
No snow making there

Overall really enjoyed the mountain. On the day it did not snow many of the mogul runs were very icy. On the snow day it was awesome and the upper side of the mountain had great powder.
Awesome staff, not crowded, really solid tree trails
Icy conditions, not very snowboard friendly

On a good snow year Ski Santa Fe is an amazing experience. There is lots of variety of runs. The mountain is great for all types of skiers. Some of the best tree skiing and is overall a very fun, and great experience. 100% would recommend!
amazing variety of runs
no cons

Ski Santa Fe is a very small ski resort. They are counting very short pieces as runs and are double and triple counting longer runs as upper / mid / lower. They only have a few lifts. Only 3 of them are relevant for anyone beyond beginners. And they often only operate one of them despite good conditions. This results in boring runs and long lines. I have given up on Ski Santa Fe despite living very nearby in Santa Fe.
Good for beginners
Not suitable beyond beginners

Overall I was able to go down the slopes with almost no line waiting, an wasn’t congested on the intermediate and diamond slopes, great snow in the mornings when froze. A lot of moguls but not a lot of snowboarder oriented trails when you get up to the diamonds
Short lines, groomed trails, wide lanes, offers every type of terrain you could ask for
Gets hot quicker down south, the major trail going down gets all the beginners funneled into the intermediate and diamond runs

Great hill close to Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Never any lines, and there's plenty of good snow mid-season. You won't find epic powder bowls here but the tree skiing is great for expert skiiers. Lots of nice flowing greens near the bottom for beginners. Only downside is it's super windy at the top - Santa Fe is one of the coldest places I've skiied!
Great price, plenty of powder
