Spring has set in. Snow melt has river flowing. Very slushy at base. Higher elevations are still skiable.

The ski conditions are excellent in spite of lack of snow. The snow cat crew is doing a great job with what they have to work with. Just can’t ski the trees, which are usually excellent.

First time to Taos and was really surprised at such great skiing in NM. Blue Bird days, no crowds, unlike in CO or UT, groomed to perfection , and the staff is 5 STARS.
