Terrain

Blue Mountain features abundant terrain spread across 364 acres of skier and rider accessible terrain. The resort is one of the most frequented resorts in Canada and has a reputation of catering to families. The terrain consists of long wide groomed trails, combined with a dedicated learner’s area. The resort is easy to navigate and is serviced by multiple express lifts.

With an elevation of 1,480 feet (base 750 feet), Blue Mountain’s 12 lifts and 42 trails, including 30 night-lit trails, provide tons of fun for skiers and boarders with its 720 feet of vertical. The longest trail is Gord’s Groove, which is one mile long. There are three terrain parks plus visitors get access to the Arena Snowparks, which have hosted the Olympic Winter Games and World Championships. Run breakouts are 11 beginner, 16 intermediate, 7 advanced and 8 expert. The resort receives 120 inches on snow on average, which is supported by snowmaking on 94% of the terrain.

This year-round resort offers multiple summer activities as well, including lift-served mountain biking, golfing, kayaking, wine tasting, hiking, climbable tree houses, coasters and helicopter tours.
