Some of the best skiing in the US.
Great ski conditions. The weather is very good for a ski area. Nice variety of trails. Because of Oregon laws there isn't a bunch of ugly and sprawling houses around the mountain.
Not much for apre-ski going on which can be a good thing.

visited Mt. Bachelor in 2019, 2022 & now a few times in 2023. One of my favorite mountains, feels like a skate park and has the best pow days when you get lucky.
Great Mountain for all skill levels
More terrain than you can ride in one day

Snow is pretty dry for the Cascades
Accessibility and price

Great mountain with plenty to do. The bars and food options are lacking, but close to town.
Easy access from Bend Oregon, and plenty of terrain
No Apres vibe or lodging

Mount Bachelor has a wide variety of terrain, if you're more advanced you can ski out back in the black diamond area or ski Around The Lodges for a more relaxed atmosphere. Mid Mountain restaurant serves excellent food. With some amazing views.

Powdr Corp. has ruined Mt. Bachelor. Due to the greed of this corporation, profits ALWAYS trump equity and inclusion and it’s evident with every new decision by management. I grew up going to this mountain and before Powdr Corp. took over, Mt. Bachelor used to be a family friendly mountain with reasonable prices. However, most Bend families have no choice but to drive the extra distance to Hoodoo or spend their entire paycheck at Mt. Bachelor to watch rich people skip ahead of them with their new “fast pass” incentive. I have had plenty of bad experiences with Powdr Corp. management but my experience today takes the cake. It’s important to note that in addition to raising prices and rolling out the fast pass system, Powdr Corp.’s next agenda is to eliminate the opportunity for low income families to learn how to ski for free at Sunrise Lodge. Last year Early riser and Alpenglow were free but now they require new skiers to pay $49 to access these two very small beginner lifts. I’m teaching my wife and 6-year old how to ski and since we can’t afford the $147, we went up at 2:30pm today to ski the magic carpet (which will more than likely not be free next year). After using the carpet once, it broke down and the lift operator told us it won’t be working for the rest of the day. As we were walking away from the carpet I overheard one of the employees say “I don’t even know why we fix this thing. It’s not like it generates any money.” We then proceeded the Sunrise ticket office to explain our dilemma and hopeful that considering the situation, management would allow my family to use Early Riser lift knowing that the carpet was down and that there were only 4-6 people on the hill. Instead, we were told that our only option to ski before the mountain closed in 45min. was to pay the $147. Although my son looked pretty defeated in all of his ski gear, we unfortunately made the decision to drive the 40 minutes back home. This form of corporate greed is only going to continue ruining Mt. Bachelor for locals and I really hope that with enough complaints, Powdr Corp. will have no choice but to begin listening to their customers. At the very least this corporation should consider reallocating all of the money they are investing in the fast past system and put that money towards keeping Outback and Northwest open. Do better Powder Corp.

I flew across the country to ride the iconic Mnt bachelor that is advertised on the internet. I was severely disappointed to learn that the only lift that takes you to the top is almost always closed. And also many of their other lifts were closed. It seems the better the conditions are, the more lifts they closed. Without the summit lift, the resort is less than half of the size they advertise. I felt like I should have gotten half my money back, since they falsely advertised the size of the resort. So don’t be fooled by the videos you see online as it is highly unlikely you will get to ride the top which is most of their terrain. And the lines were over 30 min on Friday and Saturday. I will not be going back to Oregon to ride as all the resorts are outdated and poorly maintained.
Great variety of terrain.
Lifts are slow and lines are long. Summit lift is rarely open.

I feel like Mt. Bachelor gets overlooked for some of the West's other resorts, when it's actually one of the largest ski resorts in North America. So much terrain, very respectable vertical, and skiing around the entire mountain. Can't beat spring skiing here considering it's one of the last ski resorts to close for the season.
Huge mountain for the Pacific Northwest, long season, great apres
