If you are looking for tree runs, Meadows is going to be your best bet on Mt. Hood. There are plenty of long groomers and parks throughout as well if that is what you are into. When Heather Canyon lift is open, that is going to be the best mix of steep+tree+few people - It's magical. I wish there was a bit more around the resort in way of food/apres, but Government Camp is going to be the closest and it's just not the same as coming right off the slopes. Since the resort is on the opposite side from Portland, traffic is longer than other resorts. Unfortunately, it's probably the most expensive resort in Oregon (similar price with Timberline and Bachelor) which I don't love...
