A ski resort with terrain for all levels and closeby lodging, lots of apres ski activities and a good ski school make for great vacations on snow.
The Power Pass is owned by Mountain Capital Partners (MCP), based in Durango, Colorado. It owns and operates 10 ski resorts and bike parks, many of which are in the Southwest. Power Pass resorts include Sipapu and Pajarito in New Mexico, Arizona Snowbowl, Lee Canyon near Las Vegas, Brian Head and Nordic Valley in Utah, Hesperus and Purgatory in Colorado, and Willamette Pass in Oregon. The newest addition to the Power Pass is Valle Nevado in Chile.
Like its ski pass competitors, the Power Pass offers an incredible value to enjoy skiing and snowboarding at a variety of resorts, all with different styles, terrain, vibes, and amenities. This is particularly the case for skiers and riders who live in the Southwest, or who travel there frequently during the winter, since seven of the Power Resorts are located in the Southwest.
Like many of the other ski passes, the Power Pass has several different tiers. The main top-tier Power Pass offers unlimited and unrestricted skiing and riding at all if its mountains, plus 7 free days at Valle Nevado during its current season. The Power Pass Select offers unlimited skiing at Brian Head, Sipapu, Nordic Valley, Pajarito, Hesperus, and Willamette Pass, with 12 restricted days to share between Snowbowl, Purgatory, and Lee Canyon. The Power Pass Core offers unlimited skiing at Hesperus, Sipapu and Pajarito, plus restricted skiing at Nordic Valley and Willamette Pass. Additionally, the Power Pass Core comes with 4 total restricted days to share between Purgatory, Snowbowl, Brian Head Resort, and Lee Canyon.
Additional pass benefits include online ticket discounts, retail discounts, and free days at partner resorts. Pass benefits vary by pass.
Power Pass offers a kids pass, which is free for all kids 12 and younger, and a senior pass, which is free for guests 75 and older. Both of these passes come with no strings attached, but they don't include the benefits of the other passes.
