Clearly Deer Valley opened at 8am this morning. They advertise 9am opening then open early for the few privileged "in the know" or happen to be there at the moment. It would be nice if ALL paying customers were put on an even playing field.

It’s dumping on the Flagstaff/Empire side. Very soft snow if you’re away from Bald Eagle.

This week has been more like typical April conditions. Single digit to mid 20's coming in, the surface will be extremely firm until such time it warms back up a bit and / or they get significant snow.

Warm , windy with flat light. Snow condition is fair to good on upper slopes, but very soft and wet down low. Colder weather coming which is likely to make the surface very hard. If sampling “expanded excellence “, Avoid the upper part of Green Giant. It’s not excellent. Cover is thin and worn th...
