Snow Reporter Comments: 4/15/2026 8:00 AM Update: Good morning from Crystal Mountain! We picked up about 6 inches of new snow overnight as of 5am. It’s a beautiful little refresh and honestly, the perfect cherry on top of well… a season that has really been about personal growth.Conditions are still low coverage. A lot of our closed terrain is in that classic “snow over rock” phase. The good news is that open runs should ski nicely this morning with some soft turns and a fresh feel. The better news: it looks like a powder day, which counts for morale. Just don’t trust anything that seems too smooth or too good to be true, it probably comes with a complimentary core shot. Tell your friends, tell your family, because we can still call this a powder day!Stick to open terrain, keep it playful, and maybe bring the skis you’re emotionally prepared to part with. Get your pass up here and join us for a spring pow day! Fresh snow: A lovely cherry on top. Base depth: Still working on it. Season review: Builds character.Note: Daily morning reports will occur at 7am for the remainder of the ski season. Note: The traverse behind the King is closed and the only access to Silver Basin is via hiking the King. Terrain Parks: Discovery Park, Sudden Drop and Arwine's Park are all open today! Strong SW winds have ramped up, and snow has begun to fly, but the brunt of this system’s moisture won’t arrive until later this evening. A modest serving of water and desirable freezing levels should deliver a solid coating of snow. The real question will be how successful Tahoma is at intercepting the incoming precip. With chilly W-NW flow on the heels of this storm, expect a general dry out on Wednesday with the potential for some bonus post-frontal showers. Cross your fingers! Clouds should start to dissipate throughout Thursday, as high pressure begins to rebuild in the wake of this storm. Temps will be slow to bounce back, but should rise notably by the weekend, making for favorable snow conditions! *Daily Summaries: 12hr period representing 4am-4pm or 4pm-4am data*Freezing Elevation (ft): Approximate elevation above sea level where the air temperature reaches 32 degree F*Daily Summaries: 12hr period representing 4am-4pm or 4pm-4am data*Freezing Elevation (ft): Approximate elevation above sea level where the air temperature reaches 32 degree FUphill Travel Update: See the above banner for the current status.
