Snow Reporter Comments: 3/25/26 10:20AM Update:Good morning, snow lovers! Yesterday brought us extreme exfoliation courtesy of some aggressively rude wind. Gusts were strong enough to relocate small children, unbuckle helmets, and possibly file for residency. This morning, the sun is out and as the clouds roll in this afternoon we might see a light refresh of snow. Hopefully, about 1–2 inches. Not a full powder party, but hey we’ll take free refills when we can get them.Today’s vibe? Much calmer. The wind has (thankfully) taken a day off, leaving us with cooler temps and a more respectable mountain atmosphere. Less “arctic survival documentary,” more “pleasantly frozen playground.”Surface conditions:Morning: Firm. Like “edge control matters” firm. Like “your skis are judging your technique” firm. Afternoon: As the day goes on, things could soften up just enough to take the edge off (literally and emotionally). Pro tips for today: Sharpen those edges unless you enjoy unplanned interpretive dance. Layer up! It’s just below freezing, so crisp but not “why do I live here” cold. Afternoon laps might be the sweet spot if you like your turns slightly less crunchy. Get out there, enjoy the calmer skies, and remember: if you fall, it’s not you it’s the conditions. Join us today for another firm and fast day out on the hill! Terrain Parks: Discovery, Sudden Drop and Arwine's Jump Line are open today! Kelly's gap, Northway, Lower Ferks, Deerfly, Exterminator are closed the season. please do not duck the ropes they are there for a reason. Liquid precipitation and pesky winds will persist for a couple more hours and will taper off this evening. Gusts will still be quite strong overnight but should simmer down by daybreak on Wednesday. Wednesday will be calmer with low to mid-level clouds and possible post-frontal showers. These showers might dust us with an inch or two of snow Wednesday afternoon as snow levels dip down to 2500’.
