Snow Reporter Comments: Report Updated: 26 Jun 3:47pm Today at Perisher A crisp morning and a clear day ahead Good morning and happy Friday from Perisher! It’s a clear, crisp morning, with the temperature currently sitting at -5°C. The cold temps mean the snowguns are still firing at full force this morning, and they’ve been running since 8:45pm last night. It’s a great sight to see! We’re headed for a fine day and a top of 5°C. Winds are currently a light south-westerly, forecast to swing south-easterly through the middle of the day before tending north-easterly to south-easterly this evening. The team were trucking in snow yesterday to increase the beginner terrain available at the bottom of Front Valley, and with another cold night forecast, we should see another good snowmaking run tonight. Today, the Front Valley Conveyor and Harry’s & Herman’s Conveyor at Smiggin Holes will open for first-timers and beginners. The Hike Park is also still on offer for those looking for a challenge.
