Inside Scoop

For the best powder day experience at Snowbird, head directly to the Gad 2 lift early in the morning to find untouched stashes of fresh snow. Mineral Basin is another great spot on a powder day, offering wide-open terrain that receives direct sunlight and stays powdery throughout the day. For après-ski, visit The Tram Club or the Plaza Deck at the base of the resort for a lively atmosphere with drinks, snacks, and mountain views. Locals recommend getting out early on weekends and holiday mornings to beat the crowds, as Snowbird's popularity can lead to longer lift lines, especially during peak times.
