Snow Reporter Comments: Happy Holidays! Instead of presents, this year we are asking Santa for snow. There are two systems rolling in this week. One will start this afternoon and continue into tomorrow, bringing a winter mix and potentially some rain. Starting Thursday, a more prominent system will make its way into Big Cottonwood Canyon and continue through Sunday. This second storm is projected to bring cold temperatures and 10 to 16 inches of fresh fluff. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 30s today, with light winds and cloudy skies. Know The Code, limit your speed, and stay in control while skiing and riding as you share the trail with other eager skiers and riders. Fleet Street is the only route down from Apex Express and should be considered “experts only.” Today is the 12 Days of Holiday Cheer: Holiday Treasure Hunt, so keep a lookout for sweet treats while you’re on the hill.
