Snow Reporter Comments: March 14th, 1:19 PMGood afternoon skiers and riders. Winter paid us a visit last night, dropping two inches of fresh snow that coated the mountain and refreshed the landscape, plus we've received another 2 inches since opening bell. Today's forecast calls cloudy skies with temps settling into mid-to-upper 20s at the summit and mid-to-upper 30s at the base. Tomorrow brings more of the same with low-to-mid 20s at the summit and low-to-mid 30s at the base. Enjoy beautiful, firm groomers topped with loose granular snow throughout the mountain. Natural and ungroomed terrain will feature variable conditions and thin coverage topped with windblown snow, and is best suited for advanced skiers and riders. Please read signage before entering trails, as trail difficulty has drastically changed with new conditions. We'll be getting down on 350 skiable acres with 13 lifts, and 50 of 71 open trails groomed.GMX remains closed, check out the latest State of the Mountain blog for more info. We're in weekend operating hours tomorrow with Super Bravo, Heaven's Gate, and Inverness getting the party started at 8:00 AM. All other scheduled lifts will be spinning at 9:00 AM. Slide Brook Express and Castlerock will be closed for the foreseeable future due to a lack of snow on the evacuation roads. The trails Inverness will be reserved for race training tomorrow, and will reopen to the public at 1:00 PM. Racer's Edge will also be reserved for racing events today and Sunday. The legendary Sugarbush Parks has been hard at work the past few days rebuilding the park on Reimergasse.
