Snow Reporter Comments: March 13th, 1:49 PM*Mt. Ellen will be open with Inverness at 8:00 AM and Sunny Quad at 9:00 AM**Hiking for GMX terrain will be open from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, via Inverness to Northway. Hiking above the base of Summit lift is prohibited*Good afternoon skiers and riders. Today's forecast brought along partly cloudy skies with temps settling into upper teens to low 20s at the summit and mid 20s to low 30s at the base. Plus, we're expecting some much needed snow tonight that'll linger into tomorrow, for the chance of 4" or more of fresh snow. Many trails still remain ungroomed, so expect variable conditions with thin coverage on natural terrain, recommended for advanced skiers and riders.  Please read signage before entering trails, as trail difficulty has drastically changed with new conditions. We'll be getting down on 304 skiable acres with 10 lifts, and 40 of 63 open trails groomed.GMX will be closed today due to a blown fuse as we work with a third party to fix the issue. We’re excited to have North Ridge Express back tomorrow with a 9:00 AM opening. It’ll be running at a reduced speed as a preventative precaution. We'll be in weekend operating hours tomorrow with Super Bravo, Heaven's Gate, and Inverness getting the party started at 8:00 AM. All other scheduled lifts will be spinning at 9:00 AM. Slide Brook Express and Castlerock will be closed for the foreseeable future due to a lack of snow on the evacuation roads. The trails Inverness and Brambles will be reserved for race training tomorrow, and Brambles will reopen to the public at 12:30 PM. Racer's Edge will also be reserved for racing events tomorrow and Sunday.The legendary Sugarbush Parks has been hard at work the past few days rebuilding the park on Reimergasse for a re-opening tomorrow. At Lincoln Peak, Slowpoke has 14 intermediate features, and Sugarbear Forest is home to 7 beginner freestyle elements. Attention park skiers, tomorrow, March 14th from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Down Rails & Double Kinks is back at Mt. Ellen. Skiers will drop into the lower rails zone on Riemergasse, the course will feature down rails and double kink rails.
