We received a gift of 4 inches of fresh snow overnight, making it 8 inches in the last 72 hours. Castlerock and Valley House lifts will begin loading at 9:00 AM again, and North Lynx terrain is open for hiking only from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Tomorrow's another cold one, expect partial sun filled skies with base temps in the teens, summit temps in the single digits, and winds between 30-45 mph. Please note: Castlerock runout is very thin and may damage equipment, choose wisely.Tomorrow we'll be getting down on 67 trails, 6 lifts, and 280 skiable acres, including plenty of natural terrain off Castlerock and North Lynx, suggested for experts only. Natural terrain conditions are thin and variable, so assess before riding and use caution. You'll find packed powder across the mountain and top-tier corduroy are waiting for you on 21 trails. Natural terrain will be great early morning choices for soft powdery turns. Gate House terrain brings soft easy-going groomers, perfect for a cold Sunday. Snowmaking has wrapped up on mid-mountain and moved towards Valley House, firing on Lower Snowball, Racer's Edge, and will be adding Spring Fling this afternoon. Please use caution in snowmaking areas as conditions vary and visibility is low. Tomorrow we're back to weekday hours, which means all lifts loading at 9:00 AM. Reminder terrain off upper mountain lifts is for advanced skiers and riders only. Mt. Ellen hike park is open with 20 freestyle features from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM for passholders, plus, Slowpoke is now home to 3 new freestyle features.
