Snow Reporter Comments: March 16th, 7:49 AM*Northridge & Heaven's Gate are on windhold* *Valley House will open at 9:00 AM as Super Bravo is delayed*Good morning skiers and riders. This past weekend was full of snowy turns and nonstop events across the resort, but don’t worry, there’s plenty more on the way. With Pride Weekend and another round of fresh snow in the forecast, it’s shaping up to be a weekend you definitely won’t want to miss. Today's forecast calls for cloudy skies with rising temps settling into mid-to-upper 40s at the summit and low-to-mid 40s at the base, rain showers will be present throughout the day. Strong winds are also expected throughout the day tomorrow which may affect lift operations. You can expect some soft groomers along with wet granular snow around the mountain, expect slow sticky snow found on natural and ungroomed terrain. We'll be getting down on 381 skiable acres with 11 lifts, and 50 of 84 open trails groomed.GMX remains closed, check out the latest State of the Mountain blog for more info. We'll be getting into weekday operating hours with Inverness getting the party started at 8:00 AM and Northridge at 8:30 AM. All other scheduled lifts will be spinning at 9:00 AM. Slide Brook Express and Castlerock will be closed for the foreseeable future due to a lack of snow on the evacuation roads. The legendary Sugarbush Parks crew has been hard at work the past few days rebuilding Reimergasse at Mt. Ellen. It's back open with over 60 features ready to fill your freestyle needs! At Lincoln Peak, Slowpoke has 14 intermediate features, and Sugarbear Forest is home to 7 beginner freestyle elements.There's plenty of fun to be had both on and off the hill this winter, so check out all our winter events.
