Snow Reporter Comments: March 30th, 6:15 AMGood morning skiers and riders! It’s bittersweet saying goodbye to Mt. Ellen for the season, but we’re excited for the spring skiing days ahead. Today’s forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with comfortable spring temps, expect upper 30s to low 40s at the summit and upper 40s to low 50s at the base. The mountain is serving up soft machine‑groomed snow across most terrain, with soft frozen granular found on ungroomed and natural terrain. We’ll be skiing and riding on 205 skiable acres with 7 scheduled lifts and 32 of 44 trails groomed. Operations have moved to weekday Spring hours, with all scheduled lifts opening at 10:00 AM. Reminder that starting today, we transition to spring hours: 10:00–5:00 on weekdays and 9:00–5:00 on weekends. The Parks crew still has you covered. At Lincoln Peak, Slowpoke is ripping with 14 intermediate features, and Sugarbear Forest is set with 7 beginner‑friendly elements.There’s still plenty of fun to be had as we wrap up the season. Join us April 4th, from 11:00 - 2:00 PM, to take the plunge across a 100-foot pond at the base of Lincoln Peak.
