Snow Reporter Comments: March 3rd, 7:05 AM*GMX and Heaven's Gate are on wind hold*Good morning riders and skiers, the mercury is rising! We've got warmer weather on tap through the week setting us up for a gorgeous stretch of sliding at the Bush!  Today's forecast calls for a breezy morning, increasing clouds throughout the day and mild temps in the low-to-mid 20s at the summit and low-to-mid 30s at the base. Plus, snow showers are expected this evening into tomorrow for a chance of 1-3 inches of fresh snow. You can expect firm machine groomed trail conditions throughout the mountain, and variable sections, particularly on ungroomed and natural terrain.   We'll be getting down on 484 skiable acres with 13 lifts, and 49 of 111 open trails groomed. Operations are in regular weekday hours with GMX scheduled to start the party at 8:00 AM. All other lifts spin at 9:00 AM, with the exception of Slide Brook, which is scheduled for 10:00 AM. Slide Brook may experience a delayed opening today due to cold morning temperatures. If you're chasing the sunshine, be sure to check out the Gate House or North Lynx terrain. It's one of the best spots on the mountain to find those warm, sunny turns. Inverness and Brambles will be reserved for race training today and will reopen to the public at 1:00 PM.The Parks crew continues to deliver, at Mt. Ellen you’ll find 94 features on Riemergasse and another 28 on Sugar Run, all serviced by the iconic Sunny Quad. Please keep in mind the lower half of Sugar Run will be closed for the Shaping Our Futures event and reopen to the public on Friday. At Lincoln Peak, Slowpoke has 18 intermediate features, and Sugarbear Forest is home to 7 beginner freestyle elements.  There's plenty of fun to be had both on and off the hill this winter, so check out all our winter events.  Join us Saturday, March 7th for a public ride day at the Shaping Our Futures event in collaboration with Hoods to Woods. We are encouraging the community from near and far to come out and ride and hang with the kids. We will also be raffling off some prizes! All Lincoln Peak and Mt.
