Snow Reporter Comments: March 6th, 10:51 AMGood morning riders and skiers! With a fresh dusting of new snow and mild temperatures on tap today, it’s shaping up to be a fun‑filled day on the mountain. Today's forecast calls for cloudy skies and temps expected to settle into a comfortable upper 20s to low 30's at the summit and low-to-mid 30's at the base. Mix showers are also expected throughout the day. You can expect beautifully soft groomers underneath fresh snow in the morning, perfect for carving your way around the mountain. As temperatures rise through the day, surfaces will soften. We'll be getting down on 484 skiable acres with 14 lifts, and 59 of 111 open trails groomed.  Operations are in regular weekday hours with GMX scheduled to start the party at 8:00 AM. All other lifts spin at 9:00 AM, with the exception of Slide Brook, which is scheduled for 10:00 AM. Inverness and Brambles will be reserved for race training today, with Brambles opening to the public at 1:00 PM. Racer's Edge will also be reserved for racing events this morning and will reopen to the public at noon. The legendary Sugarbush Parks crew continues to deliver, at Mt. Ellen you’ll find 94 features on Riemergasse and another 28 on Sugar Run, all serviced by the iconic Sunny Quad.  At Lincoln Peak, Slowpoke has 18 intermediate features, and Sugarbear Forest is home to 7 beginner freestyle elements.  There's plenty of fun to be had both on and off the hill this winter, so check out all our winter events.  Join us Saturday, March 7th for a public ride day at the Shaping Our Futures event in collaboration with Hoods to Woods. We are encouraging the community from near and far to come out and ride and hang with the kids. We will also be raffling off some prizes! All Lincoln Peak and Mt. Ellen uphill routes are currently open. Please review our Uphill Travel Policy for full details.
