Left Snowmass yesterday early after 3 days of 40 F plus temps. Snowpack is taking a beating from temps and high winds. Dirt, stones, and pine debris all over. Mountain ops is doing their best to hold things together. Colder temps and snow is forecasted in second week of February ❄️!

Love this place but it's icy due to wind and lack of recent snow. After 3 good days followed by 1 icy day with no change in conditions forecast, going home 3 days early. We will come back when conditions are pleasurable. It's skiable, but even as experts, we don't see the point. Spoiled and hate ic...

Variable conditions. Aspen/Snowmass need snow! Instructor said there hasn’t been measurable snow in 3 weeks…so you can imagine what the snow is like now. Also, today was in the 40s (as it will be for the next two days). Elk Camp, Big Burn, Cirque, and High Alpine were closed today because of wind.

Pre-Christmas bonus week is outstanding. Mountain is up and running. Staff is great. Beautiful conditions with a nice base. No crowds. However, they need to fix WiFi, it’s really bad coverage.
