Looks it’s early season…So it’s not peake season terrain yet. But due to allot of work from the breck team you can get an honest days carving done.
Breck had 8 inches overnight and it’s currently coming down biggly with another 8 inches forecast for today. You need to be here!❄️⛷️❄️

Snow is thin and icy in areas. I did some runs on peak 8 only two runs open, at base of peak 9 now taking a break. Snow is thin and icy in areas. The app says Beaver Run lift is “scheduled” this afternoon so that will be a bonanza if it happens.

First time to Breck. Good snow for being so early. 2runs open took the Gondola up to Colorado Superchair and did about 7 runs down Springmeier. Snow looks better than pic.

Only a couple of runs and lifts are open. Pretty much all man made snow. However, skiing was pretty good. Not very many people so there is no wait at lift lines. Hopefully more snow on the way soon. Temperature at base of lifts has been around 50.

Hey guys I'm from Texas I usually go up there the second week of January. My wife wants to go early but I'm afraid they might not be any snow when is the first good snowfall for the trails to open? Is there snow in December and trails open?

Snowed about an inch of the heaviest snow ever last night up high which made for the most amazing corn snow I’ve ever skied. Closing day is tomorrow, so come get it while you still can. Super warm and sunny and coverage was great for mid may.
