I knew it was going to be rough out there, but the conditions today were the worst I have ever seen. Peak 10 had best snow by far, but they need snow BADLY. Beats the alternative any day, but it was encroaching on "not fun" for first time ever for me.

The last few days of snow has certainly helped and overall, conditions are fine to allow everyone a good time on the mountain. There is surprisingly good snow all over the mountain. But if you get on the steeps or moguls, the rocks are hiding right beneath the thin fresh layer. Several more inches of snow to be a true Breck experience. But man, this is an awesome mountain.

Conditions better than I thought. A little icy and one short part of a run on peak 7 should NOT have been open ... Grass, mud and mix of moguls with minimal snow

Plenty of new gouges in my skis after skiing Friday, Sat & Sun. Good amount of ice as well. Despite the negatives, still had an amazing time and clocked about 75,000 vertical in 3 days.
