Porters Ski Area is located in the Craigieburn Range of Canterbury, New Zealand, just 89 km west of Christchurch. With a base elevation of 1,302 meters and a summit reaching 1,980 meters, the resort spans 230 hectares (568 acres) of skiable terrain. It features 21 trails accessed by 6 lifts, including quad chairs and surface lifts. The vertical drop of 678 meters offers a satisfying descent across varied terrain, and the area receives an average of 109 cm of natural snowfall annually, supported by snowmaking on key trails.The trail breakdown includes 14% beginner, 29% intermediate, 29% advanced, and 29% expert runs.
