Snow Reporter Comments: Last updated: 2:54pm Fri 10th Jul Mōrena from Whakapapa. It's a crisp, clear morning on the maunga, with fresh snow from yesterday setting the scene for another fantastic day. It's shaping up to be a busy one as we head into Matariki. Happy Valley will be open from 9:00am, with skiing and riding, lessons, and Snowland all operating from 9:00am. Happy Valley Rentals and Guest Services will be open from 8:00am, while Lorenz's Bar and Café and Retail will welcome guests from 8:30am. At present, the Sky Waka Gondola and Knoll Ridge Chalet are on hold while we wait for the wind to ease. The forecast is for conditions to continue improving this morning, and we're optimistic we'll be able to open them this morning. Please keep an eye on our latest updates for the most current information. It's a cold start to the day, so wrap up warm and get ready to enjoy the fresh snow.
