Snow Reporter Comments: Ka hari te Rāhina katoa (Happy Monday everyone) from a very mild morning here at Whakapapa. Our snowmakers went to battle early this morning, doing their best to build up snow. As temperatures climbed, the weather got a little too warm for continued snowmaking but our groomers stepped in and took over the charge, ensuring the terrain is in fine condition for the day ahead. All of Happy Valley is open from 9am, offering access for learners and those easing into their week. The Sky Waka gondola is spinning from 9am for both sightseeing and ski and ride access, and Rangatira Quad is also set to open at 9am. It's looking like a mostly fine day, though a bit of wind is on the cards, for now conditions are suitable and lifts are projected to open on time. A great day to shake off the Monday blues and get some turns in. See you out there!
