While it is not my favorite resort it is a decent place to go if you just want to spent a couple of days within a moderate distance from MD. While I understand their policies on ticket sale refunds for capricious reasons, I don't understand their adamant stance when you have a medical issue . I tore my meniscus just a week ago and will be going into surgery on Monday Dec 23rd ( AND CAN PROVE IT ) yet they refuse to refund or defer my 3 day ticket until next year. I would not advise saving the few dollars buying a pass like that ahead because unfortunately this resort will not be helpful and while most often we can keep our winter plans intact life does have a way of changing things. So to save a few almost meaningless bucks, you end up wasting 300 plus. Having been a patron of this mountain for way more years than I can count, I will scratch this off my list and go elsewhere. I would not recommend buying anything ahead of time to save a few bucks, they are no help. I guess corporate greed at its finest is what comes to mind.
