The Sunlight Mountain Resort snow report for Mar 25 is a 36" base depth with 3 of 3 lifts open. Please note ski conditions and snowfall at Sunlight Mountain Resort are sourced directly from the ski resort and are only recorded during the official ski season's opening to closing dates.
Some are sad to see these two seat center posters go. But if you are over 6' tall, you probably like me, cannot wait for improved chairs! Legs are supposed to burn from the turns. Not cramp up from the chairs.
Tucked away just above Glenwood Springs, Colorado, Sunlight Mountain Resort offers great views of the Elk Mountain Range and Mt. Sopris from the top of its lifts. Boasting a 2,010’ vertical and an annual snowfall of 250 inches, skiers and riders have access to 680 acres of groomers and steeps and open groves of aspen tree skiing. Serviced by three chairlifts, the terrain is 20% beginner, 55% intermediate, 20% advanced, and 5% expert and all trails merge to the base lodge.
